Are you a licensed contractor?
Yes, we are a fully licensed "General Building Contractor" in the state of California. Our license information can be verified by visiting the Contractors State License Board's website at: http://cslb.ca.gov. What are your rates for home repairs?
For most repair work, we charge a flat rate of $80 per hour. Any travel time spent acquiring parts or materials on your behalf will also incur hourly charges. Remodeling projects are usually quoted by the job vs. by the hour. Does your hourly rate include materials?
No - parts and any materials are extra. We are always happy to select and purchase any needed parts for you. The cost of any repair parts will be added to your final invoice. We will ask for your approval before replacing any parts. Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, we do. For most repairs, we can usually give you a good idea over the telephone of how long a typical repair job will take and the cost of parts. For remodels or new construction projects, we offer free in-home estimates. How quickly can you get here?
Most of our appointments are booked anywhere from 1 to 7-days in advance. We can often squeeze in emergency jobs on the same day that you call. We will do our best to get there quickly when you really need us. Do you offer appointments on weekends?
Our working hours are typically 8am to 6pm Monday thru Friday. We are available most nights and weekends for emergency repairs. Will I have to wait around all day?
No - we give specific one hour slots in which we plan to arrive. We are mostly on time, but sometimes (particularly towards the end of the day), we may be running late due to traffic or unexpected trips to the parts store. We will try to call with an update if that happens. What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, personal checks and major credit cards through PayPal. Our invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise pre-arranged. |
